As he approaches the end of his third and final year with the orchestra, he leaves behind a legacy of ambitious programming, exceptional performances, and a deeply unified ensemble. His departure comes as a result of an increasingly demanding professional workload alongside finding time for his family.
Reflecting on Jack’s time with the orchestra, the RSO Committee released the following statement:
"We want to extend our deepest, most heartfelt thanks to Jack for his incredible dedication over the last three years. From his very first rehearsal in 2023, Jack brought an infectious energy, a wealth of musical insight, and a standard of excellence that challenged and inspired our players in equal measure.
While we are incredibly sad to see him go, we fully support his decision to focus on his growing professional commitments and his family. We are immensely grateful for the time, talent, and passion he has shared with us."
During his tenure, Jack conducted a series of landmark performances, guiding the orchestra through challenging repertoire and fostering a warm, collaborative rehearsal atmosphere that musicians and audiences alike have thoroughly enjoyed.
